XCNet-FX5U-S is a high-performance protocol conversion gateway, which is used for Ethernet data acquisition of Mitsubishi MELSEC iQ-F (FX5U, FX5UJ and FX5UC) network port PLCs, which is very convenient to build a production management system.

LAN1 of XCNet-FX5U-S will automatically establish a connection with PLC, map FX5U into SLMP (MC3E) server, support ModbusTCP master-slave communication function, without PLC programming. XCNet-FX5U-S can realize the function of NAT address translation, which can map the IP address of the PLC connected to the LAN1 port to any IP address of the LAN2/WiFi interface, which is convenient to solve the problem that the field device cannot modify the IP address.

Integrated WiFi function, supports AP mode, STA mode and AP+STA mode, it is very convenient to build WiFi network, PLC programming, data acquisition, data exchange and cross-network segment access can be performed directly through WiFi.

Technical Features

Installed on a 35mm guide rail, LAN1 is 4*RJ45, with switch function, this port is connected to PLC, host computer or touch screen; LAN2 is a single-port RJ45, which can be connected to touchpad or host computer system across network segments; WiFi external High-gain antenna can be connected to the host computer; XCNet-FX5U-S is powered by an external 24VDC power supply.

Integrated WiFi function, support AP mode, STA mode and AP+STA mode.

PLC programming, data acquisition, data exchange and cross-network segment access can be performed through WiFi.

Integrate a WEB server, which can set device parameters and run diagnosis through the web page; it can also be configured through the BCDevice tool; it can be configured arbitrarily from the LAN1/LAN2 interface or WiFi.

Realize the NAT function, which can forward TCP and UDP protocol packets across network segments to achieve access to PLC data in extended network segments.

Support ModbusTCP server function, can map FX5U into ModbusTCP server, and the mapping relationship between Modbus and Mitsubishi PLC internal soft components can be edited freely.

Support SLMP (MC3E) server function, can map FX5U into SLMP (MC3E) server, which is convenient for OPC to use Mitsubishi Ethernet driver function.

Support ModbusTCP master function, can read ModbusTCP slave device (instrument, gateway, etc.) data to FX5UPLC without PLC programming.
