BCNet-FX is a Mitsubishi Ethernet communication module that supports the Mitsubishi programming software GX Works2 for program download and monitoring of FX series PLCs.

There are three ways to set up the GX Works2 programming software


1: Applicable to FX3G/3GC, FX3S, FX3U/3UC;

2: Applicable to FX1N/1NC, FX2N/2NC, FX1S, FX3G/3GC, FX3S, FX3U/3UC; 

3:Applicable to FX3U/3UC.

For FX3G/3GC, FX3S, FX3U/3UC


This method is applicable to FX3G/3GC, FX3S, FX3U/FX3UC series FX PLC, BCet-FX Ethernet module to connect FX3UC via GX Works2.  

1. Create a new FX3U/FX3UC project and double click on the connection target:Connection in the navigation bar.

2. After the options panel pops up, select the "EthernetBoard" option on the computer side, then click "Yes" in the reminder; double click "PLC Module" on the programmable controller side ";

3. In the subsequent settings pop-up, click "Search for FXCPU(S) on the network" and the FX3UC connected to the BCNet-FX will be searched. Select the FX3UCs in order by the number in the diagram and finally click Confirm;

4. After selecting the IP address above, click "Communication Test" to indicate a successful connection to the FX3UCCPU.

5. Then you can read, write and monitor the PLC in the "Online" option.

Applicable to FX1N/1NC, FX2N/2NC, FX1S, FX3G/3GS, FX3S, FX3U/3UC


This method is applicable to all series of FX CPUs. This method is selected mainly for FX1N, FX2N, FX1S series FX PLCs. BCet-FX Ethernet module connects to FX2NC via GX Works2

1. Create a new FX2N/FX2NC project, double click on the connection target:Connection in the navigation bar.

2. After the options panel pops up, select the "EthernetBoard" option on the computer side, then click "Yes" in the reminder; double-click "GOT" on the programmable controller side ";

3. In the subsequent pop-up settings, enter the IP address of BCNet-FX in the IP address and the port number of BCNet-FX in the port number. Click "Confirm" after selecting the port number in order as shown in the figure;

4. After selecting the IP address above, click "Communication Test" and you will be prompted to connect to the FX2NCCPU successfully.

5. Then you can read, write and monitor the PLC in the "Online" option.

For FX3U/3UC


This method is applicable to FX3U/FX3UC, BCet-FX Mitsubishi FX Ethernet modules connected to FX3UC via GX Works2 

1. Create a new FX3U/FX3UC project and double click on the connection target:Connection in the navigation bar.

2. After the options panel pops up, select the "EthernetBoard" option on the computer side and then click Yes on the reminder; double click "EthernetModule" on the programmable controller side;

3. In the subsequent pop-up settings, enter the IP address of the BCNet-FX in the IP address field and click "Confirm";

4. After selecting the IP address above, click "Communication Test" to indicate a successful connection to the FX3UCCPU.

5. Then you can read, write and monitor the PLC in the "Online" option.
