Siemens Simatic S7-200 Ethernet Connection
A communication scenario is shown in this diagram:
There are two ways to program and debug MicroWIN with BCNet-S7 modules: via the BCNet programming driver, or via the Siemens Ethernet driver.
BCNet Program Driver
1. Open MicroWIN software and click on the "Set PG/PC Interface" icon on the left navigation bar;
2. Select BCNetS7PD.PPI.1 in [Assign parameters to the used interface], make sure the [Application Access Point] is Micro/WIN -> BCNetS7PD.PPI.1, and click [Properties] button;
3. If you know the IP address of BCNet, enter the IP address of BCNet directly in [IP address or domain name of BCNet module] and click [OK] button;
If you don't know the IP address of BCNet, you can click [Find local BCNet module], select the BCNet module you want to connect, and click [Select device] button.
4. Click the [Communication] icon on the left navigation bar;
5. Double-click the [Double-click Refresh] icon, select the PLC to be refreshed, and click the [Confirm] button.
Siemens Ethernet Driver
1. Open MicroWIN software and click on the [Set PG/PC Interface] icon on the left navigation bar;
2. Select the computer's network card in [Assign parameters to the interface used], make sure the [Application Access Point] is Micro/WIN->Computer Network Card, and click the [OK] button;
Note: Please select the computer network card with the suffix TCPIP
3. Click [Communication] on the left navigation bar;
4. Click the following icon to open the IP address browser;
5. Click the [New Address] button, enter the IP address of BCNet in [IP Address], click the [Save] button, and double click the saved IP address;
6. Double-click the [Double-click Refresh] icon, select the PLC to be refreshed, and click the [Confirm] button.
Note: When driving through Siemens Ethernet, please set [S7TCP default target PLC address] as the station address of the current PLC communication port.
Smart 200 PLC Ethernet Communication Settings
Open STEP7-MicroWIN SMART, click communication, open the communication window, select the computer network card whose suffix is TCPIP in the communication interface, click
Click [Add CPU], enter the IP of the BCNet module, and click OK.
