BCNet-S7200 Siemens PPI to S7TCP, MODBUS TCP

BCNet-S7200 is used for Siemens S7-200/Smart S7-200 PLC ethernet communication, which is very convenient to build a production management system.

The BCNet-S7200 ethernet module does not occupy the PLC programming port, i.e. the programming software/upper computer software monitors and acquires PLC data via Ethernet while the touch screen can communicate with the PLC via the extended RS485 port.

BCNet-S7200 supports most SCADA software in the field of industrial control and supports Siemens S7TCP Ethernet protocol and ModbusTCP protocol.

BCNet-S7200 straight-through type: Suitable for PLC control systems such as Siemens S7200 series and SMART series Ethernet communication; its X2 expansion interface can be connected to touchscreens (Siemens brand, PROFACE brand) and communication cables (original Siemens) that support multi-master communication.

BCNet-S7200 bridge type: For Siemens S7200 series, SMART series and other PLC control systems Ethernet communication; its X2 expansion interface can be connected to touchscreens that do not support multi-master communication.

BCNet-S7200 Features

1. Support multi-master communication, the expansion port can be connected to touch screen or other master station.

2. Through WEB server or configuration diagnostic tool BCDevice, you can set parameters and run diagnostics on the device.

3. Baud rate 9.6Kbps~187.5Kbps adaptive.

4. Installed directly on the PLC’s PPI communication port or EM277’s communication port, no external power supply is required.

5. Support Siemens S7 Ethernet communication driver, including MicroWIN, support WinCC to directly connect to S7-200 by TCP/IP.

6. Users can use high-level language programming (such as VB, VC, C#, etc.) according to BCNetS7 protocol to realize data communication with S7-200, which is convenient for developing production management system.

7. BCNetS7 OPC server is provided free of charge to support OPC channel for SCADA to communicate with PLC in OPC mode.

8. Integrated ModbusTCP server, Modbus data area can be mapped to S7-200 registers automatically or edited.

9. It can realize S7TCP connection and ModbusTCP communication at the same time, and support the connection of up to 32 upper computers.

10. Support user side firmware update via Ethernet, once purchased, permanently upgraded.

1:Programming and debugging

BCNet-S7 200 ethernet module supports programming and debugging of PLC control system (MicroWIN, STEP7, Botu software).

2:SCADA Ethernet communication

BCNet-S7 200 ethernet module supports Ethernet communication with almost all SCADA monitoring and configuration software on the market, such as WINCC, MCGS, INTOUCH, IFIX, LABVIEW, etc.

3: OPC communication

BCNet-S7 200 ethernet module supports Ethernet communication with mainstream OPC Server in the market, such as KEPWARE OPC, PC ACCESS OPC and so on. In addition, based on the BCNetS7 protocol, we have developed a completely free BCNetS7 OPC server, which can connect up to 1023 devices and is suitable for data collection of large-scale equipment networking projects.

4: Touch screen Ethernet communication

BCNet-S7 module supports Ethernet communication with the mainstream touch panels in the market, such as Siemens KTP/TP series, Siemens SmartIE series and S7300, etc.

5:ModbusTCP communication

BCNet-S7 module integrates ModbusTCP server function, the host software (ModusTCP client) can directly access the internal register address data of the PLC control system according to the address mapping table, the address mapping table can use the default or freely define the mapping relationship, which makes the communication more flexible.

6: High-level language programming

BCNet-S7 200 ethernet module provides an open Ethernet protocol (BCNetS7 protocol) for engineers to develop communication program software.

7: PLC Data Exchange

BCNet-S7 200 ethernet module (only BCNet Plus supports this function, BCNet (basic version) does not) support Siemens S7-1200, S7-1500, SMART 200PLC ethernet communication(convert s7-200 to s7-1200).

8:Modbus communication

BCNet-S7 200 ethernet module (only BCNet-S7300 Plus bridge type supports this function) supports Modbus function, which can be used as Modbus master or Modbus slave to realize communication between PLC and other Modbus devices.
